Birth control patch blood clot risks

Since medical science still has not yet come up with birth control options that would appeal to both men and women, we live in a world where either people engage in risky behavior or use something that is not their first choice. That is why the Ortho Evra birth-control patch was initially considered as a blessing since you didn't have to worry about taking the pill on time.

Well, it turns out that Johnson & Johnson did not tell you the whole story. According to the FDA, you are twice as likely to get a clot in the lungs and legs if you use the patch. In other words, it is time to sit down with your doctor and review your birth control options, particularly if you are also obese.

And if you have been hurt, you can join the thousands of other women who are suing the manufacturer and demanding compensation. Time to find an attorney.
