| United
States Virgin Islands has three
islands and each one of them is
different:
St. Croix:
It is unlike any other
Caribbean
destination since it has a very unique
history. Why do most couples go
there? To get married, of
course. We have heard from
couples who opted for underwater
ceremonies complete with
scuba diving
lessons. Or you can pick from
other exotic options - while
parasailing, while horseback riding,
or on a private island. But if
all you want is a traditional church
wedding, you can have that too.
St. Thomas: A
somewhat more upscale destination, the
island offers beaches, fine dining,
shopping, and several vacation resorts
to pick from. The preferred
venue for weddings is the heart-shaped
Magens Bay.
St. John: It is
the smallest of the islands and that
means more seclusion. Two thirds
of the area is occupied by a national
park. So it is perfect for those
couples who enjoy spending time on the
beach, outdoor activities, and want to
bond in peace rather than looking for
bargains in local shops. |
