Weddings in Las Vegas
You only get married once; so why not the best?

Since I am a strong believer in getting married only once, I am also a big supporter of lavish weddings (the definition of lavish is different depending on your capacity to spend and I strongly suggest that you only spend what you can afford).  So obviously, a wedding in Las Vegas is my kind of wedding.  In fact I had my wedding in Las Vegas and while it was a very small affair, it was lavish for me.

Why a wedding in Las Vegas?

• There is no place like Las Vegas.
• No matter how small or big your wedding in Las Vegas, it is memorable.  Every time my wife and I mention that we got married in Las Vegas, people stop talking and all heads turn to us.  Why?  It is something that only some people do.  Others just have dull weddings in their local churches.

What are some good places in Las Vegas for weddings?

• I have a special attachment with Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel but there are a few other excellent places, for example, Garden of Love, Texas Station, Imperial Palace, Stratosphere Hotel, Cupids Wedding, Aladdin Wedding Chapel, etc.  Just do some research to find which place you like.  They all have excellent photos on their websites.

What about fantasy weddings?

• I would say go for it.  While folks in Las Vegas have done it all, if you still can come up with a crazy idea, they will make it real for you.

How much will it cost?

• Depending on where you will come from, you have to include the cost of travel, lodging (which in Las Vegas can vary from $40 to $4,000 a night), meals, honeymoon, etc.  You must also consider the cost of wedding dress, photographers, cake, and meal that you might provide to the guests.
• The wedding itself can have cost anything from $40 to $40,000 or even more.  But what this means is that for a few hundred dollars you can actually get married in Las Vegas.
