Is my old girlfriend trying to revive our relationship?

It looks to me that old feelings are being revived because the behavior is clearly one of renewed interest. Now her words are saying that instead of you going crazy for her and pursuing her like a madly-in-love boy, she wants you to take it slow so that feelings develop over time. I would advise you that you follow her suggestion because if you are too aggressive and pushy that might turn her off. So be nice, warm, sweet, and attentive, but let her call the shots. Trust me, when she is ready, she is the one who will ask you out on a date and all you will have to do is to show up. Patience always pays off.
