Where to find love?

In this series of two articles (first article: What is love?), I am going to explore one of the most important human emotions: love. I already defined what love is in the first article and in this one, I am going to tell you how to find it. It makes its home in our hearts if we allow it to live there. Life is about making choices; we can either choose to love or hate and be unforgiving and negative or allow these things to live in our hearts. What we store in our hearts is what we will give out to others. We cannot give what we don’t have and what you don’t have you cannot give.

That is why when you fall in love and try to give love (what you have) to someone who does not know it or have it - they may reject it i.e. by taking you for granted, abusing you and not giving it back to you. This breaks love. If you are not careful and you reject love you may lose out on a good thing. Women above all want to be loved. They want affection, time to be heard, to receive love back, and hear sweet words. When love is in the right place, it will grow and mature. One of the best routes to a woman’s heart is by giving her “love.” You will find out that when you do this; you will get what you want from her. Tell her you love her and mean it. Be there when she needs you. Give her your time, take her out, and buy her a gift. I tell you, you will not have to ask for it. She will make sure you are well ‘fed.’ Guys, you know I am not talking about food here! Two people may find it, grow old together, and listen for each other’s footsteps in their old age. When one dies, before long the other follows. They found love and created an unbreakable cord. When love is broken, we have to make the choice to heal and start again or break and develop it into hate: a product of un-forgiveness and refusing to trust and start again. If not dealt with, it may have serious repercussions on your health. Love is so powerful yet we all need it. It wasn’t for love we wouldn’t make it through life. Love can prolong the life of a terminally ill person; it can heal and mend a broken heart, and restore a smile on a sad face. (Related: Marry a man through online dating)

To find love it must first be found in your heart. Women are more vulnerable as they are more emotional beings. That is why it is important that they also understand what love is so that you don’t end up in a wrong relationship. They tend to give more as they sometimes fall prey to wolves in sheep’s clothing. Be careful, girls, not all that glitters is gold. When you understand what love is you will not allow yourself to enter or stay in a loveless relationship neither will you fall prey to a wolf in sheep’s clothes. Love needs to be fed in order for it to grow and flourish in your life. So if you keep giving love and getting nothing in return, you will become empty. It means you have to say goodbye before you are wounded. The result will be pain, bitterness, loss of identity and poor self esteem and eventually poor judgment. Because of that you will then end up in a bad relationship with an abusive boyfriend, husband or partner and start to live in deceit and denial. What is worse is you will accept this situation and live like this for the rest of your life if you don’t do anything about it, because you will keep hoping that things will change. Like I mentioned earlier you can’t give what you don’t have. So if your partner can’t give it back to you and you have tried, then I am afraid you must live and try elsewhere. When the miner discovers that there is no gold where he has been digging despite the costs, he will move to another area where he believes after a survey that gold exists there. The results of a worthwhile task are always worth it. Women, be careful who you fall for and make sure you have found love before you embark on that life long journey called commitment.
