Firm body after weight loss

While losing weight is such a great feeling and makes you look so much better (along with the sense of accomplishment that a woman feels), there is one nasty outcome: loss of weight from parts of the body that you do not want to lose. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell the body to lose weight in some parts but not in other (something that is often referred to as "spot reduction", which by the way, is not possible and if someone tells you this they are trying to cheat you). So that is the problem that our reader Harpreet Kaur from India has. She has lost over 26 lbs (12 kg) but also where she never wanted it. She says, "When I told this to my future life partner, he is not ready to accept me. Please give me some good remedy."

Oh, we wish there were a magic pill that we could zip to Harpreet in India. But here are a few things that you can do:

  1. Read our article on how to make your body "look firm" when your body is no longer firm.
  2. While exercising is not going to give you a teenager's body, it will definitely firm up your muscles giving you a more youthful look.
  3. As is always the case, when women lose weight they always have excess skin (our bodies are just not elastic enough; when fat is gone, the skin does not revert to its original form - hence, the saggy look). For this, you will need plastic surgery.
