Britney Spears divorces Kevin Federline

Are you surprised or shocked? I wasn't. He should have been thrown out a long time. Experts were doubting the foundation of the relationship of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline since the day they got married. While Britney was a successful, motivated, and driven woman, Kevin was more interested in hanging out at Pure and Tao in Las Vegas. Not only did he fail at his professional career, he never really tried. Something you cannot say about Ryan Phillippe, who was not as successful as Reese Witherspoon, but he was definitely trying very hard.

To Britney's credit, she did everything to make their marriage work, but it seems that Kevin just did not want to do anything with his life.

The couple have two children together and Kevin has fathered two more children with his ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson. And as Sir Paul McCartney is learning the hard way, having a prenup helps - Britney was smart enough to sign one. That means Kevin will get about $300,000 in cash, about $5 million from the sale of their Malibu home, and may be able to keep a few more things. Not bad for him but I feel bad for the kids!
