Weddings of Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock
There are several cases when people have remarried their ex-husband or ex-wife and still not found true happiness in their relationship. For example, Eminem or Elizabeth Taylor. Of course, it is understandable that you divorce your spouse and realize later on that you truly loved her/him (as Peter Cook is finding out after divorce with Christie Brinkley) and it is best to remarry - after all that is the person in the whole world you know best. But is it also likely that the mistake you once made, you do not want to repeat it.
So does it make sense that you wed your spouse multiple times to reinforce the wedding vows and hope that the marriage will last longer. At least that is what Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock are doing - four weddings in different locations St Tropez (France), Malibu (California), Detroit (Michigan), and Nashville (Tennessee).
I know that some Hindus in the United States when they have an interracial marriage (as opposed to an arranged marriage) often have two ceremonies: a Christian ceremony in the United States and a Hindu wedding in India, but is it unlikely that the marriage of Pamela and Bob Ritchie will last longer because of that. In Hollywood, no relationship is permanent.

Which celebrity girlfriend would you like?
Oprah Winfrey has been named the celebrity girlfriend you would most trust alone with your husband or boyfriend, according to a poll by Sisterwoman. Paris Hilton was named the least trusted by a whopping 54%. No surprise there considering she changes boyfriends like her underwear. Paris Hilton "has a track record of not getting her own man, so she must take from other women," says one. Although, says another in a sarcastic tone, "I'd trust her most because my husband would be completely annoyed with her in a second."
Oprah Winfrey, who has been with boyfriend Stedman Graham for more than 20 years, grabbed 51% of the vote; actress Sandra Bullock finished second with 22%. Winfrey, who was named best celebrity girlfriend in a previous poll too, has "high morals," say many of those who voted for her. "She always seems to do the right thing," another says. "She is all about the spiritual and emotional rather than the physical." Like Winfrey, Bullock is affable without being flirtatious, voters say. "She's cute, funny and looks like she'd be a great friend for a man without his wife or girlfriend having to worry about him," says one.
Write-ins included Courtney Cox, Catherine Zeta Jones, Uma Thurman, Susan Sarandon, Julia Roberts, and Ellen DeGeneres. Poll takers were given a list of 10 celebrities from which to choose that included Jennifer Aniston, Eva Longoria, Rachel Ray, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, and Tori Spelling.
Competing for the spot at the bottom was Angelina Jolie, who famously wound up with Brad Pitt after he and good girl Aniston split, is untrustworthy, some said, because of what happened in the "Team Jolie vs. Team Aniston" saga. "Brad was happy until he lusted and gave into that lust," says one. Adds another: "Those lips, those eyes ... I could NEVER trust my boyfriend with her."

Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro divorce
Most of us forget when we take the wedding vows what they mean. If we pay attention to what we are saying, we will realize that we are committing our lives to the person next to us. But the 50% divorce rate in America clearly shows that for a large number of people, wedding is entertainment and the vows are just part of the process to have a grand celebration, spend money, go on honeymoon, and have a good time. I am not saying that we should never get a divorce - in some cases, that is the only reasonable choice. However, the numbers make me believe that either we are marrying the wrong kind of people or we are just not serious about marriage.
At least Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro were not. And to make things even more ironical, they even starred in MTV's Til Death Do Us Part. Does that remind you of someone else? Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey also looked like the couple that would retire to a senior citizens home together. Well, it is not that the couple has taken marriage casually the first time. Carmen Electra made a game out of marriage with Dennis Rodman while Dave Navarro was married twice before (thank God; none of them had children).
It is too early to say what went wrong but like emergence of Denise Vasi in the divorce of Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee and that of Diana Bianchi in the divorce of Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook, we must watch to see what happens next.

Why did marriage of Christie Brinkley fail?
Looks like beauty (and money) can't buy happiness. I mean, look at Halle Berry is single. How many women out there are prettier than her? Or take a look at Jennifer Aniston - one of the most beautiful women getting a divorce from another good looking man, Brad Pitt. The same could be said of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise.
So it was no surprise to find out that Christie Brinkley failed for the fourth time in finding everlasting love. Her architect husband Peter Cook is gone as did Jean-François Allaux, Billy Joel, and Richard Taubman.
They have given the usual BS about "asking for privacy" and "being good friends." The real reason for their separation is a woman by the name of Diana Bianchi, 30 years his junior. He literally used her as her mistress showering her with money and even a car and finding employment at his firm for her. And now to make things worse for Peter Cook, Bianchi has hired an attorney and the next thing you know she might ask for even more money. Didn't we tell you that dating colleagues is a bad idea.
And by the way, if you think you are not pretty/handsome and that is why you are not successful in your relationship, think again - Brinkley is clearly far more attractive than Bianchi.

Sheryl Crow still loves Lance Armstrong

When Hollywood celebrities talk about their everlasting love for their ex partner, you wonder why did they breakup in the first place! For instance, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston or Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. Now you can add the name of Sheryl Crow who ended her relationship with Lance Armstrong.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, she says that, "I definitely still love him and always will love him...I do think about Lance every day. And I think about his kids every day."
Of course, it is all so romantic and beautiful but still begs the question about the breakups. Couldn't they have worked it out before calling it quits? I like Paris Hilton who likes to play musical chairs with her exes rather than dumping them altogether.
