One of the things that I support is dating someone with a huge gap if everything else is right about the person. Having said that, like any relationship, you will need to make compromises when it comes to a relationship with someone who is much younger or older than you.

For instance, if you are dating a woman in her 40s, chances are that you might never be able to father a child with her. Older women also suffer from menopause and other health conditions that may lower their appetite for sex.

Similarly, older men often suffer from erectile dysfunction, or just cannot engage in normal sex due to their age.

That is why, I was shocked to read that one of Hugh Hefner's many girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson, is now complaining that she lived in a sexless relationship with him. For God's sake, this is just one of those friends-with-benefits relationships. An old, rich man can have a harem and then you complain that because he will not make love to you, you will go and have it with someone else.

I think the message is that one must be prepared with what to expect.
